TERMS & CONDITIONS OF USE
Last Updated: October 1, 2025
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the websites, emails, products, memberships, and services offered by DMV Wedding Collective (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Contact: [[email protected]]
Mailing Address: [Annapolis, MD]
Privacy Policy: [Privacy Policy]
By visiting our website, joining our email list (via Flodesk), purchasing a membership (via Stripe), or using any of our services (the “Offering”), you agree to these Terms.
1) General
You must be 18+ to use our Offering.
We may update these Terms at any time; the “Last Updated” date will change accordingly.
Use of the Offering is at your own risk. We use reputable platforms (Showit, Flodesk, Stripe) but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
2) Memberships & Pricing
Membership Types: Individual and Team (details shown at checkout or on the website).
Founders Rate: A built-in discounted rate (e.g., $375/year) is available to the first 100 members for each qualifying membership. This is a separate price within the same product and may be offered via a unique checkout link.
Once 100 Founders Rate purchases are completed (as tracked in Stripe), the Founders Rate price may be disabled and only standard pricing (e.g., $425/year) will remain available.
Auto-Renewal: Annual memberships renew automatically each year on your renewal date at the then-current price for your plan, unless canceled before renewal. If your plan states a specific renewal date (e.g., January 1, 2027), that date controls.
Price Changes: We may change prices for new purchases and renewals. If your renewal price changes, we’ll notify you in a reasonable manner (e.g., email).
No Retroactive Adjustments: We do not provide price adjustments for prior purchases.
3) Billing, Payments & Cancellations
Payments are processed by Stripe (and subject to Stripe’s terms). You agree to keep your payment method current.
Currency & Taxes: Charges are processed in the currency shown at checkout. Applicable taxes will be collected as required by law.
Refunds: Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing for a specific Offering, all sales are final and non-refundable.
Canceling Auto-Renewal: You can cancel future renewals at any time by contacting us at [[email protected]]. Your current paid term remains active through its end date; no partial refunds.
Chargebacks: Before disputing a charge, you agree to email us so we can review and assist. We may provide proof of purchase/access to your bank if a dispute is opened.
4) Access & Community Conduct
Access to members-only resources, events, and community spaces is for the named member(s) only. Team memberships include two named users unless otherwise noted; additional users require add-on fees.
You agree not to share private links, downloads, or event access with non-members.
Be respectful. Harassment, discrimination, spam, or unlawful conduct may result in immediate termination of access without refund.
5) Intellectual Property
All site content, event materials, course content, branding, graphics, logos, and documentation are owned or licensed by the Company.
You receive a limited, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial use related to your membership.
You may not copy, distribute, sell, or publicly share members-only content without our prior written consent.
Company names, logos, and marks are trademarks of the Company. No license is granted except as expressly stated.
6) Member Submissions, Directory & Media
If you submit content (e.g., profile details for a directory listing, testimonials, comments, photos), you represent you own or have rights to that content and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and adapt it for the Offering (e.g., directory display, event materials, promotional use).
Opt-Out: If you do not want a particular submission used for marketing, state that clearly at the time of submission or email us at [[email protected]].
We may moderate or remove submissions at our discretion.
7) Reviews & Endorsements
Reviews must be honest, respectful, and based on your real experience. No hate speech, illegal content, or coordinated manipulation.
By submitting a review, you grant us a license to use it for promotional purposes.
8) Email Marketing (Flodesk)
By entering your email on our forms, you consent to receive marketing emails from us via Flodesk.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9) Technology & Security
We use third-party platforms (Showit for site, Flodesk for email, Stripe for payments). We are not responsible for outages or third-party errors.
Do not share your login credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account.
10) Disclaimers
The Offering is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties—express or implied— including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.
We do not provide legal, medical, or financial advice. Any educational content is for informational purposes only.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.
11) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims or demands (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Offering.
12) Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in unlawful or harmful conduct. Termination does not entitle you to a refund unless required by law.
13) Disputes; Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [State], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Before filing a claim, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution. If unresolved, the parties agree to mediation in [County/State] prior to litigation.
14) Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms shown at checkout, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company.
